The following teams were selected to fundraise with us based on reviewed applications for 2019.

KMHA  - Kelowna Minor Hockey's aim is to foster, improve and perpetuate the playing of the game of hockey and to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork and team participation, parental support of KMHA and enjoyment of the game of hockey by all participants and members of the Kelowna Minor Hockey Association in the City of Kelowna. UNIQUE STORE URL

U14AA Northern Lights Ringette Team - Our team is made up of players from Prince George and Quesnel. Our goal is to develop these amazing, determined & dedicated players and offer them a higher caliber ringette game. Our players deserve the same opportunities as the players down south and we know that many of our girls will one day represent the North and play for teams like Team BC, National Ringette league, Team Canada, and University Ringette teams. We are a non-funded organization, so the costs are high for the families as we travel all over BC and Alberta participating in tournaments. We have joined forces with Leela to help raise money and cut our costs down. Please support us and make these girls’ dreams a reality. UNIQUE STORE URL

TOFC 2002 Boys - Our TOFC (Thompson Okanagan Football Club) Team comprises of dedicated athletes from all around the Thompson Okanagan Region. The Team trains together twice a week as well as playing games most weekends.  Most of these athletes also participate in extra solo training together with maintaining the grades they need at school. They are dedicated sportsman on and off the field.  The players hope to attend several University showcases in their upcoming Season both in Canada and the USA.   Our team’s participation in such events not only promotes the wonderful region of the Okanagan and all that it offers, but helps attract new athletes and inspires others to not only participate, but to excel in the game and be the best version of themselves technically, physically and mentally. North Central Midget AA Bobcats -  The team is under the Cariboo Cougars Hockey Club and is compromised of a great group of Midget aged players from Prince George, Hay River, Hazelton, Houston and Quesnel.  We travel extensively to play against the seven Zone teams throughout BC and tournaments outside the province.  Playing hockey is an intricate part of theirs lives and our entire team hopes to develop their love and passion from the game they are all benefiting from.   All funds raised are applied towards travel costs such as bus, food and accommodations and larger team expenses.   We encourage you to participate in the fundraiser and greatly appreciate your support.  UNIQUE STORE LINK

TOFC 2005 Boys - The 2005 TOFC Boys are a group of boys passionate about soccer and developing their skills to succeed, both on the pitch and off. This group is diverse and come together three times a week travelling from Penticton, West Kelowna, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops and Revelstoke to train and play together in the BCSPL. The Team is looking to attend a pre Spring Season tournament to offset the geographical and winter challenges that the next few months bring and set the Team up for a strong 2019 Spring Season. École KLO Middle School Global Student Leadership TripKLO students have the opportunity to participate in the Global Leadership Summit in London, ON in April 2020. Students will travel to Toronto, Niagara Falls and London, Ontario to participate in a leadership summit that brings 2000 youth and educators together from over 20 different countries. The goals of the conference are to create, to change the conversation, and to bring the most inspiring messages of hope and leadership to youth across the world. The conference hopes to motivate students to make positive personal change and inspire larger action in their school, the local or global communities. École KLO Middle School Québec Trip - KLO grade 8 French Immersion students and grade 9 French students have the opportunity to explore the French language and culture with a trip to Québec City and Montréal in June 2020. Finding an authentic opportunity to be immersed in the language is a great experience for students to use the language communication skills they have acquired. By exploring French communities in Canada, our thirty participants will strengthen their second language, develop cultural awareness, break down social barriers and improve self-confidence. This trip will enrich understanding of French-Canadian culture and foster understanding about the diversity of youth across Canada. Thank you for supporting our exchange group and their fundraising. TOFC 2003 Girls -  Made up of an exceptional group of talented, dedicated athletes from all over the Thompson Okanagan Region.  This tight knit group of young women have had great success in the BC Soccer Premier League and consistently place in the top of their league.  These young women are raising money to attend a tournament in 2020.  This tournament will not only help prepare the team for their spring season, it will also provide them with an invaluable opportunity to be scouted by many of the university coaches that will be in attendance.   UNIQUE STORE LINK

Saskatchewan Selects Football - For the past 7 years the program has gathered players from all corners of the province to run an elite full-contact and modified contact winter program.  Our camps and development programs help players improve skills, performance and competition levels, and get exposure to next level football programs in both Canada as well as the U.S, with a curriculum designed for multiple age levels and experience.  Player improvement carries over as athletes progress from minor football to high school with enhanced lessons and drills to improve and prepare them as they aim to make an impact in junior and collegiate level football.  UNIQUE STORE URL

Big White Ski Club - A non-profit organization that for over 60 years has provided world-class alpine ski training.  We take pride in developing strong skiers and athletes through our specialized training programs, all while having fun. Our aim is to provide high quality and affordable ski racing development programs for children 5 to 16, as well as masters, where each member can develop their skiing ability to their own highest potential in a fun and safe club environment.  UNIQUE STORE URL

Kelowna Secondary Senior Girls’ Basketball Team -  The KSS Senior Team is moving up to AAAA Basketball and will be competing against the top teams in the province throughout our season.  The talented athletes on our team live and breathe the sport of basketball and are dedicated to performing at the highest level.  Many of the athletes on the team play on rep and provincial teams and some will go on to play at the university level. But their first love is KSS. Last year we placed fourth in the Province and two years ago we won the BC AAA Provincial Championship, the highest level of Senior Girls’ Basketball in the province, giving KSS, Kelowna and the Okanagan their first ever provincial AAA girls’ title. Your financial assistance will go towards helping us to enter tournaments that will expose us to many different teams as well as to tough competition, ultimately helping us to improve our game in preparation for this year’s goal: our first BC AAAA Championship! Thank you for your support, Go Owls!  UNIQUE STORE URL
